spx tsx comparison fail

Pardon the poorer visual quality, this was a rush-job at another computer. Still, with 100.25 to 101.00 for usd/cad ratio, making cad the stronger just to be clear so cdn prices should be lower in the same way for the same thing, why is the TSX (tse 300) so much lower than spx (s&p500) ? That 17% spread is NOT currency exchange. What's going on?
