Room For London - Kris Mitchell

During low levels of light a few selected units will omit light both into the interior and exterior. Sensors are used to control the passive change of light as you travel through the space. Light becomes efficient as it is only used when it picks up movement.

From the exterior these panels can be seen as a vibrant glow of light, due to change in which the box omits light from the inhabitants, members of the public are aware whether there is movement in there or not. This connection between public and private will be seen as an visual communication between one another.
