Singer Superb bobbin

Notice the thread lays across the left edge of the bobbin after you pull up the thread. If your bobbin thread is not like this your stitches will appear as if you have tension problems or you may get thread bunches (nesting) under your fabric. After you load the bobbin, hold your finger on it to keep it from turning while you follow the bobbin threading path. This helps make sure the thread 'enters' the thread guide directly in the front of the bobbin in the bobbin case area. This is how the thread should look for all 'drop in' bobbin sewing machines!!! Singer made a great sewing machine with the Superb but they failed to put this important info in the instruction manual. I'm positve it's the reason this machine has gotten a few negative reviews saying they have tension problems.
