Vintage 1930's Tugboat - Drypoint Print

This print, made with the drypoint printmaking method, is based on a ship called the Robert Gray, which was built for the United States Army Corps of Engineers in 1936. It spent much of its early years around Alaska.

The print was carefully printed on a press in my home studio from a hand-etched zinc plate with black oil-based ink.
