Vallvidrera Funicular

Opened on 24 October 1906, the funicular has played a key role in the development of Vallvidrera and is the main public transport access to this neighborhood.

 

Its upper station (Vallvidrera Superior) was designed by the architects Bonaventura Conill i Montobbio and Arnald Calvet i Peyronill in the Catalan Modernist style.

 

This line covers a distance of 736m, with a ramp of 158m (max slope 28,9%).
