Arriva North East 2869 YJ11OJE
Darlington
Once a day service X59 to Leyburn, connecting onto service 59 to Hawes and Askrigg, will soon be withdrawn as a result of cuts by North Yorkshire County Council. The last day of operation will be on Friday 8th May. I thought I ought to get a picture of the service before it was withdrawn!
It will be replaced with a college days only service to Darlington College, where this service starts, for college students from Leyburn. The section of route between Askrigg and Leyburn was proposed to be replaced by a Little White Bus scheduled service, while the return journey would be operated on a "demand responsive" basis
