Found during one of our rest stops on the long four day drive to Texas, here's what I believe is a mock-up of an electric chair. I'm not 100% sure, but wires leading to the head band and ankle strap tell me it probably is.
We were in our second travel day en-route to Texas, and as we always do, stopped in at Duke's Antiques to browse around. Most browsing is done with our phone cameras, but we do on rare occasions find something to buy. We left he electric chair and its occupant for another browser to discover. A buyer could put clothes on the figure and use it as a pseudo- passenger to allow driving in a city's HOV lane, making for a faster commute. Various kinds of fake passengers have been used in this way... sometimes successfully, but most attempts are thwarted by sharp-eyed police.
