Found near John's Cove, this old sofa was well beyond any hope of affordable reupholstering. How it came to be missing a large chunk of its stuffing is a mystery. Birds will sometimes seek out fluffy material for nest building, Judging by its condition, this thing has been out in the weather for quite some time. Whatever took the huge "bite" out of it has a large supply of stuffing still available.
Although my photos might give the impression that Yarmouth Bar is a horrible debris and rubbish strewn area, it's really not the case. It has some fairly "untidy" areas that are full of photographically "interesting" subjects.
