An eight shot stitch in the roundhouse of Railtown 1897. A historic park located in Jamestown, California. I highly recommend the guided tour which takes about two hours and is included in the five dollar admission. Our guide was full of knowledge and stories about the history of the Sierra Nevada Railroad and these amazing pieces of history. This Engine has appeared in several well known movies such as Back to the Future III, Unforgiven and Pale Rider. The park recently completed a refit with a brand new boiler so she should be ready to run for another hundred years.
