Crabtree Spicebush Swallowtail
I know you can't tell by looking at this that I was bit up like crazy by mosquitos! When I see this pic, I start to itch. I went to Crabtree Nature Center right after having my hair done, not remembering how much the mosquitos love mousse! A not so gentle reminder to wear a baseball cap (at the very least). Finally got this shot on the outskirts of the property, where there were no mousse loving mosquitos! 1 lady stopped me and said, "what do you see?" I said butterflies, dragonflies, and last but not least, no mosquitos!" She completely understood, her daughter had 13 bites.
