Give My Regards To Broad Street
This is a better rescan from one that is on my other Flickr account that is now dormant.
Broad Street in its death throes, Class 501 176 waits time in the deserted station to work the 07.41 to Watford Junction, the Richmond service had been diverted away to North Woolwich a fortnight earlier. At this time it was the only platform in use and later that summer Broad Street was demolished however a temporary platform was built further out so that the Broadgate Office complex could be built, this lasted until 30 June 1986 when it closed for good.
