A CH-46 Sea Knight helicopter with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 265, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force, flies out of Naval Air Station Atsugi, Japan heading to conduct visual recon in the disaster areas in northern Japan March 15. HMM-265 is operating 24 hours a day in support of Operation Tomodachi and will continue to support the Japanese government in humanitarian assistance and relief as directed by III MEF Forward command element.
