Johnson 3F 43645 passes the disused station at Woodchester with a pick -up freight on the Stonehouse to Nailsworth branch on 16 July 1960. Allocated to Gloucester Barnwood shed since Nationalisation, it was withdrawn in November 1962 after 62 years service. The branch line closed to passengers in 1947 but remained open to freight until 1966. Much of the line is now a cycle path.
