Stash - a commitment

This is not a usual Stash Post. It's a commitment. I've realized that I'm always - and definitly too much - buying some new fabric. My stash-bins are over filled and I don't think that I'm able to use all that stash in my whole life...

So I've decided to stop buying fabric with some small exceptions. These are:

* supplemental solids or nearly solids (that means also some Quilter's Linen etc.)

* some singular FQ's if I'm really in need because I've missing an elementar color

* my subscription of the Stash Stack Club at Pinkcastle Fabrics - that means six FQ's are reaching me every month

* and 4 times a year I'm allowed to buy some fabric from my really favourite Designers (Denyse Schmidt, Amy Butler, Joel Dewberry, Pat Bravo...)

There will be 9 'Sunday Stash'-Posts in the near future because I've this stash already at home and the posts are written - so, don't be irritated.

I hope this post will remind me always that it isn't necessairy to buy so much fabric and will avoid me from 'click, click and buy' instead of sew.

Maybe I should also do a small Etsy shop for destashing?! But I think it could be a problem with the postage from Switzerland.. We'll see. If I do so, I'll let you know!

By the way, this is the whole Madrona Road Collection by Violet Craft - these are real beauties aren't they?! And I think it's a very good point for stop buying fabric!
