Ezer Mizion
Yitzchok Goldschmidt & Tal Falach
Ezer Mizion Bone Marrow Registry---Tal with his grandfather. The Falach family will never forget Yitzchok. Without him....
An emotional meeting between Tal and his donor Yitzchak and their families took place in early September 2010. At the meeting Tal's grandfather, Professor Izzy Borowitsch, former El Al CEO, spoke:
"Nothing I ever went through made such a profound impact on me. Coming so close to death (with Tal's battle with cancer) brought me to the clear understanding of how important a robust and large registry is for Jewish people throughout the world. It is a safety net for everyone, wherever they are.
"This experience has changed my perspective on life and my sense of priority. Supporting the lifesaving activities of Ezer Mizion's registry has become one of the important things in my life, because I have learned first hand the humbling lesson that nothing, not even wealth or social status, can help a person if he or a loved one is in need of a stem cell donor."
