Jupiter and Io

Making do with bad data, the telescope didn't have time to cool down completely before the clouds rolled in., and the seeing was so so. Jupiter from a couple of nights ago with its moon Io casting a shadow on the Great Red Spot (GRS). To give some perspective the GRS is a storm that has been raging for at least several hundred years and is about the width of two Earths. Jupiter's moon Io is slightly larger than our moon and is volcanicly active.
