CN 8001 leads manifest traffic up the CN Superior Subdivision mainline at Owen, Wisconsin past the classic brick depot of Wisconsin Central and Soo Line vintage. The Owen area has been on my list of places to visit as I expand my own coverage of the CN Superior Subdivision. I normally shoot around Solon Springs and Gordon up in Douglas County. Today's sunny forecast was cause to a trip east from Minnesota to see what the CN mainline had to offer. The L571 local was working in town then the signal popped on green for a northbound movement.
