Crying Faces
Yuanjun Angela Zhao
Berlin, Germany
February 10, 2012
The Crying Faces by Bex in the Jewish Museum in Berlin was not only a visual exhibition, it was a whole body experience, as when I stepped down the path of crying faces, the metal plates were making noises that reminded the audience of the pain and suffering of those who died in the Holocaust. Although the Holocaust has ended, persecutions and genocides are still present in this world. As a Falun Dafa practitioner overseas, the persecution of people of my religion in China were the sounds that played in my ear when I walked down this path.
