Stranger 36/100 | Ryan

I met Ryan just outside Cooper Square in New York's east village. I found a plywood wall with specs of old flyers that I thought would make a gritty New York background.

Ryan was game for the project from the first sentence of my stranger spiel. Ryan grew up in NYC and he had just gotten off work at a local restaurant that he manages. During his spare time he plays the drums. He is a real calm soul and we were both in a rush at the time. I couldn't shake him with my comments. Regardless, I think you can see his true demanor in this photo.

Camera Specs

ISO:320 Shutter: 1/250 fStop2.8 Focal Length: 70mm

This is my first time shooting wide open on my 24-70. It's definitely a little bit softer wide-open, but I kinda like how it looks soft. The depth of field wasn't quite as hard to handle as I thought it would be either. Me and this lens are going to have some adventures!
