Common Snipe

A trip to WWT Slimbridge mid October. Weather was sunny intervals.

 

Another Common Snipe by the edge of the Rushy Pen Lagoon.

 

Common Snipe are medium sized, skulking wading birds with short legs and long straight bills.

Normally quite elusive.
