Hopkins, Layer Blending
Before I began with the layer blending, I slightly edited this photograph of my sister in Camera Raw. I darkened the blacks and turned up the highlights a little bit. Once that was done I adjusted some of the colors and the temperature. Next, I opened the picture in regular photoshop and the first thing I did was copy the background layer. After that, I applied a soft light layer to the background copy. Next, I went to filter then High Pass and I set the diameter to 3.1. The last thing I did to edit this photograph was apply a surface blur with a radius of 5 and a threshold of 21 to even out some of my sister's skin.
