Wakeup Alarm for the Mountains
The mountain tops have some early wake-up alarms set; some very early alarms. The first light of the sun wakes them up through their slumber, even when the sun is still 6 degrees below the horizon. The whole earth is still in their REM phase of sleep, when the first shades of a nautical & then civil twilight zone, nudges the giants, to open up their eyes to another day filled with natural brilliance. The Cadini mountain summits glow softly under the Alpenglow that paints the horizon differently each day. The valleys lazily turn their backs to the sun, to another hour of snooze shuteye, even as the snow-capped crevices smile bright-eyed at the photographer.
Good morning, you Mountain Lovers!
