Library's environmentally friendly landscaping

This picture was taken outside of the Henderson Library and shows the beautiful landscaping that is the view from many of the library's windows. This landscaping includes many large trees for shading. These trees also provide shelter and food to the animals that live on campus. Lake Wells and Lake Ruby both offer a home and are water sources to the fish, turtles, plants, ducks, and other life forms. The Lakes are kept clean and students are sure to keep their trash out of the water and in the provided trash cans.The walkway is for pedestrians, bicyclists, and skateboarders only. So there is a minimal amount of vehicle pollution within this area.
