Fields of red ..... Lest We Forget
November 11th is Rememberance Day here in the UK, where we wear red poppies to remember all the soldiers who gave their lives in the World Wars, so others could remain free.
The red poppy became a symbol because the battlefields of Northern France were covered in the wildflower during the First World War.
