Short-Eard Owl
This was a very productive shoot in Stanwood Washington. Unfortunately this will be the last season open to anyone as it is being turned into a water way providing for the declining silver Salmon.
These shorties will find another place to hunt moles, mice. rats etc. They share this area with Northern Harriers and often get into a squabble over turf. Unfortunately the areal fights I missed. :-((
