Bumble Bee and Water Lily 1
Buff tailed bumble bee Bombus terrestris) approaching a large water lily flower. First in sequence of 4 shots taken a few years ago. Decided to re-work them, cropping in more tightly. They were all shot using a Nikkor ED 500mm f/4 P, but bumble bees fly sufficiently slowly to allow manual focussing.
