First Birthday Foreshadow

Mom always said, "I knew you'd be my adventurous one ever since you're first birthday when you jumped off the top of the couch and your face met the coffee table." At four, I broke my arm playing backyard football. Days before my nineteen birthday I tore my ACL & MCL skiing. Then by twenty had my second knee surgery from soccer. Yikes!
