Pooley's Folly

County Hall in Aylesbury. Construction work started on the building in 1964 and was completed two years later. It was designed by the county architect Fred Pooley. This is where the nickname comes in. Although it is a good example of brutalist architecture, the local population either hate the view or love it. The glorious sunshine and the dark clouds rolling in was the reason I captured this.
