d71673a. No offence to Scotts Traffic Control, but yes in my experience, traffic controllers often do a woeful job!
I've put up lots of photos that show how poor it often is.
But it is very hard to take photos of my main gripes - inappropriately low temporary speed signs, especially after-hours when there is no work happening, ridiculously long distances between the actual end of roadworks and the return to normal speed, often no sign at the end of the zone that returns you to normal speed, no policing in roadworks zones so that most drivers exceed the legally-binding temporary speed limits by 20 or more kmh with impunity and the driver who observes the signs is tailgated like crazy and shown total contempt by other drivers... to name just a few!
