e10524a. This is absurd! This is the Great Eastern Highway, on a stretch of road that could surely have a 100kmh speed limit.
Why is the speed limit here 80???
This sort of situation creates conflict, between those who want to keep to the lawful limit and those who push the limits. If you stick to 80 along here, you risk getting bullied, not least by large trucks, coming up rapidly behind and then tailgating.
Speed limits need to be in line with the nature of the road and all other factors, even if they are only short distances before there is a cause to have a different speed limit.
