Stonewall Jackson

A few days before he died, Stonewall Jackson's arm was amputated and buried near the Chancellorsville Battlefield. After his death, his body was brought back to Lexington for burial. His arm is still buried in a steel box on a plantation known as Ellwood in the Wilderness Battlefield.
