Photographer: Schajer & co.; Eduard Schajer run, between 1868-1870, in Bucharest, the studio formerly owned by Wollenteit (it was placed on Podul Mogoșoaiei - future Calea Victoriei-, in the building of the Bossel Hall).
Date: 1868-1870 (probably 1868 - he hadn't have enough time to order his own cards, his name is embossed in German on the front side of the CDV: "SCHAJER BUCHAREST SAAL BOSSEL" - this gives the CDV the same appearance with Wollenteit CDV's).
Location: Bucharest, Romania
The portrayed: three generations of the same Romanian family: the probably illiterate humble grandma, "nouveau riche" mother, with fan in her hand, the promising son, keeping a book in his hand. Symbolic for the steep changes of the Romanian society at the time.
