Short Hair Represent!

I got a little inspired by a discussion yesterday (Guess the subject).

These are all the short-haired girls in my collection. Out of the twenty-seven female dolls I own. And my collection is quite modest in comparison. The numbers are even worse if you take all dolls out of these lines into account. So excuse me if I don’t take kindly to people saying Tecna, who’s represented twice here, should look better with longer hair. Or that I should take scizzors to a doll if I want them to have shorter hair (HATE that argument. Representation doesn’t work that way.)

Incidentally, this is a large chunk out of my all-time favorites. I love short hair. I also love curls. (Those are depressingly rare, too.) and I love funky colors. (Thanks to Monster High, that’s no longer a rarity.)

Just a little rant.

Short hair on female dolls is still too uncommon if you ask me. Please don’t take the few that have it away.
