[17th-century ms. inscription recording the gift of this volume by Jo[hannes?] Heuss in 1603. UPenn Ms. Codex 1604 has a similar set of inscriptions, recorded in part as "Ex dono R.D. Jo. Heussii ... 1603" and "Residentiae e Societatis Jesu ..." in Zacour and Hirsch, Catalogue of Manuscripts in the Libraries of the University of Pennsylvania to 1800 (Ms. Lat. 132). A physical inspection of the ms. reveals them to be in the same hand as those depicted here.]
