Beneath contemporary ms. inscription ("Placet Publicetur") in brown ink a fair rounded oval applied wafer seal of validation (paper, 41 x 48 mm., presumably over red shellac), with small tear in paper at edge of impression. Size: 29 x 24 mm. Design: arms of Jean-Ferdinand van Breughem (1630-1699), bishop of Antwerp. No legend.
