Sept. 15th 1906." followed by an ms. list of the contents of the volume and bibliographic notes, signed G.R.R. He is established as Redgrave, G. R. (Gilbert Richard) 1844-1941. Redgrave edited STC, or A short-title catalogue of books printed in England, Scotland, & Ireland and of English books printed abroad, 1475–1640 with Alfred Pollard. Redgrave was the son of the painter Richard Redgrave.
