BBBs are roosting again
Our population of Blue-banded bees is increasing with the warmer weather, and the best way of monitoring this is by going out at night to the roosting spot. There are eleven closely packed on this twig. The same night I found another 9 on other twigs on this large camellia tree. Our garden is abuzz with these bees and also lots of Megachiles (leaf cutters)
