I chose the red backround to bring out the tan color on the pot. The red was in contrast with the green leaves, having a red backround really brought them out. I simply chose the vertical shot because the horizontal angle that i had didn't capture everything i wanted in this photo. I wanted to make this picture simple and to the point. I didn't want to over crowd my picture with little details here and there. I was about 3 feet away from my objects and i have really bright lamp in the backround and the light brings out the red more which also brings out the pots more.
