Colorsplash 2012

The quilters of Gee's Bend were my inspiration for this quilt. I got my hands on a couple of charm packs of Malka Dubrawsky's a stitch in color fabric, and I used almost every last piece. I used Kona white for the negative space so the not so square big blocks would really pop. The binding is a black and white stripe (a la Rita of Red Pepper Quilts).
