Charging Lamp

All wired up. The resistors are soldered directly to one of the spades at one end and then via a little loop of wire to the other spade which then goes of to the alternatore. The diode is in series inside the run power feed. All heat shrinked up it should be secure enough.

 

I had originally soldered the resistors directly between the two spades thinking that would be nice and tidy but then realised this would stop an easy bulb change (without de-soldering them)

 

I've tested it and it seems to work fine with the lamp only lighting when +'ve is connected to the centre wire
