diff cradle after days of work and the first coat of black hammerite.
After 2 days each side in the de-rusting tank, lots of cleaning and hammering out of stuborn rust I was able to give several Krust treatments and get it painted up.
Fortuantely I think I've caught it in time before the rust damaged the welds beyond repair. If I have any trouble I'll just have to source a younger unit from a late 90s car.
It's this sort of thing that makes the case for getting rid of the donor aspect of kit cars
