Proactively use the wait list function
This might be the most extreme flash sale shopping style, and is therefore also highly effective in saving you money. The key here is to ignore anything still available and only shop sold-out items. Add what you like to your wait list. Since you're not actually about to purchase anything, you can throw items onto it with abandon. Should something become available, say, two weeks later, you can decide if you still want the item, if it's worth the money, and ultimately, whether you're going to purchase it. Trust us, nine times out of 10, instead of being thrilled the thing came back around, you'll actually no longer be interested.
