on the marble tiled floor glass objects of the exhibition "Wunderglas" of the Venetian artists Laura de Santillana e Alessandro Diaz de Santillana
The Spanish Hall, built between 1569 and 1572, is one of the most important freestanding halls of the Renaissance. The picturesque lay-out of the 43-metre (141 ft) long hall is dominated by the 27 full-length portraits of the princely rulers of the Tyrol. Today rather famous classical concerts take place in this hall.
Der Spanische Saal unterhalb des Hochschlosses zählt zu den prächtigsten Saalbauten der Renaissance. Im Sommer erklingt darin Musik, etwa im Rahmen der “Ambraser Schlosskonzerte” und der “Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik”. Der Innenhof des Hochschlossen ist mit originalen Fresken gestaltetet. Das Renaissancejuwel mit seinem weitläufigen Park macht einen Besuch zum unvergesslichen Erlebnis!
