35/52-Cubs Game and a Surprise
We took the kids down to Wrigley for a Cubs game this week. We had chosen this specific day because American Girl was giving away Cubs apparel to the first couple thousand kids under the age of 14. We decided not to tell Sarai so she would be surprised when we got there and she was! But it got even better than just an outfit! Halfway into the 4th inning, a group of official looking people began walking up towards out seats. Turned out, one of our seats was chosen as the winner of a brand new American Girl doll for this year, Cecile. We were all shocked! But Sarai was ecstatic! So even though our dear Cubbies lost the game, we still went home winners :-)
