Outer Belt Bridge
This bridge over Charlesworth Avenue in Joliet, Illinois, is very cool for a number of reasons. First off, it has an old American Bridge Company Plaque that says it was built in 1911. Second, it still says "Elgin Joliet and Eastern" on the side. and third, just barely visible here, it has on it the EJ&E's "Outer Belt Line" logo that dates back to around the time this bridge was built, and used until the "J ball" logo was introduced in the '60s. On the oppositte side of this bridge is also a much more visible, more basic Outer Belt logo that consists of a rectangle with "Chicago Outer Belt" written in basic font inside of it.
