Wall of Shakespeare First Folios in the Folger Vault

Every First Folio's story is unique, and over the course of four centuries, many copies have changed hands and traveled the globe. Nearly all existing copies are owned by institutions; only about 20 are in private hands. The Folger Library has 82, by far the largest single collection of Folios in the world.
