A rail replacement service using buses made spare while the summer schedule was in operation used route blue corner route 500S Volvo B12BLEs 2516-2520,2524 plus 2537-2542 daily with weekend appearances by some of their all yellow sisters in the 2521-2536 range.In October 2011 this bus lost its blue corners and moved onto quiet short local routes when the 500S contract was renewed with 19 new Volvo B7RLE taking over most but not all of the 24 monday-friday duties on route 500S.
