I finally made it to the Rideau Canal for my first skate of the year, it was -25C and a beautiful day. I over did it a bit for my 1st time out this year I skated from Dow Lake to km 0.0 at the Parliament Buildings and back about 12 km. A shot of the Beavertails concession stand near Dow Lake.
