WA/SA border plinth -2002
This concrete plinth officially marks the border between Western Australia and South Australia. It is located where the Trans-Australian railway crosses the border. This photo was taken in September 2002, on our trip along a section of the Trans line access track, from Cook in SA to Forrest in WA. We had planned to travel all the way from Cook to Kalgoorlie but the track was so rough we headed south from Forrest on a winding goat track through to Mundrabilla. The caretaker at Cook told a big bus had travelled through there recently (amazingly!!) so we followed their tracks.
