Vientiane Road Race
The 9th annual Vientiane half marathon began quite early on Saturday morning. Our group arrived at the starting point around 5:30am to find large crowds and loud music. There were 3 different runs that day, a 5K, 10K and a half marathon.
There were many runners that day, the number I heard was close to 2000. MCC was well represented at the race with staff, volunteers and partners, participating in all events. Alisa, who recently completed the internet famous couch to 5K running program, decided to test her limits and participated in the 10K event.
Alisa successfully completed her run and we all very proud and happy.
